About the Instructor
Brittany Tachkov, MT-BC
Brittany Tachkov, MT-BC started the music therapy program at Hospice of the East Bay, working within a Thomas Long Foundation grant. She has been awarded the New Professional Grant, Professional Development Grant, and Wilhelmina Herbert Professional Scholarship and co-founded the California Association for Music Therapy as a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
“As someone who has reviewed grant applications in the music therapy community for a decade, I can tell you that Brittany writes at a different level from all of her colleagues. It’s no coincidence she has been awarded so many grants in such a short time… despite blind review!
If grant funding is important to your mission, do yourself a favor and learn from Brittany Tachkov.”
“Brittany has this fantastic ability to create a long-term plan of action to reach far envisioned results. Along the way, she would uncover new resources and employ them for the achievement of the final destination. Through working with Brittany on the California Association for Music Therapy Board of Directors, I learned valuable tools related to bringing a project to fruition and witnessed how one can stay grounded through momentary situational changes.”
“Through her exceptional skill, work ethic, and business understanding, Brittany has earned grant funding for MT services and MT advocacy. Learning from Brittany will provide you invaluable skills for elevating your services and growing the field of music therapy.”
