Since 2016, I’ve been working intimately with hundreds of music therapists and educators on vocal health. As music therapists, we are all at risk for vocal fatigue, laryngitis, vocal disorders, nodules, and hoarseness. As the founder of the Mindful Voice Teacher podcast, my purpose is to provide tools and resources to voice teachers in hopes of empowering them to be confident and capable allies to their students struggling emotionally and mentally. I believe that teachers are in a critical position to help slow the decline of mental health that is becoming increasingly apparent.
