Ellisa Morris, MMT, MT-BC

Ellisa Morris is a board certified music therapist from Missouri. Ellisa completed her Bachelor’s of Music Therapy Degree from Drury University and Master’s of Music Therapy Degree from Alverno College. In addition, she holds her NICU MT and Neurologic Music Therapist certifications. She has valuable experience working in private practice and medical music therapy settings, serving individuals and groups across the lifespan. Ellisa draws from various approaches to clinical practice and is passionate about advocating for music therapy services and elevating the standard of excellence in the field of music therapy. Ellisa authored a research study titled “Current Use of Heartbeat Songs in Music Therapy ” and an educational manual, Heartbeats: Clinical Approach and Training Guide to Heartbeat Songs in Music Therapy. In her free time, Ellisa enjoys writing, recording, and performing her original music and is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
